Aviation Division clears experimental drone flights from SpiceJet, Dunzo

The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Tuesday approved experimental flight operations of drones, that are stated to be past visible line of sight (BVLOS), of SpiceJet, Dunzo Air Consortium, Skylark Drones and Swiggy, and 17 different entities.

The opposite 17 entities embody Virginia Tech India, ShopX Omnipresent Consortium, Asteria Aerospace Personal Restricted, Centillion Networks Personal Restricted, Marut Dronetech Personal Restricted and Sagar Protection Engineering Personal Restricted, the ministry stated.

The ministry granted these 20 entities a conditional exemption from the Unmanned Plane System (UAS) guidelines, 2021, for “performing the BVLOS experimental flights,” he stated on Twitter.
