Bills best free agent Von Miller lost vs. Lions with a knee injury

When the Buffalo Bills signed Pass Rusher Von Miller, they hoped that Miller would have the same impact on them that he had on the Los Angeles Rams last season when he helped them win a Super Bowl.

Miller and the Bills may still see this season end that way, but there’s a lot of concern about that after he suffered a knee injury on Thursday.

Miller left Thursday’s game against the Detroit Lions with an injury. His leg was hit from the side by a Lions offensive lineman on a first-half pass, then had his leg curled up as the game ended. Miller left on a cart for the dressing room just before half-time. He was quickly banned from the game, which is a bad sign.

Miller has free agent recipient Odell Beckham Jr. recruited, and Beckham was concerned about the injury.

Miller had eight sacks in the Bills’ first eight games. He signed a six-year, $120 million deal in the off-season to help the Bills into the playoffs. Miller was the Super Bowl 50 MVP with the Denver Broncos and was a big part of the Rams’ Super Bowl push last season after a mid-season trade.

The Bills will have nervous moments wondering how serious Miller’s injury is.
