China’s “Instagram” Chooses Conflux Network For Permissionless Blockchain Integration – TSTIME

Toronto, Canada, January 24, 2023, Chainwire

Little Red Book, (XiaohongShu), the Chinese version of Instagram integrates Conflux Network as a permissionless blockchain, allowing users to showcase NFTs minted on Conflux on their profile page in the digital collection section called ‘R-Space’.

The platform has over 200 million active monthly users and this integration brings NFTs one step closer to mass adoption, with people actively using Web3 technology within a Web2 system every day.

Little Red Book has previous alliances with blockchains and NFTs, but never a permissionless network.

Ming Wu, CTO of Conflux said: “Major players in the internet industry in China have begun efforts to embrace the Web3 transition. Conflux will become the main bridge between the two worlds, taking a leading role in extending Web3 technology to traditional industrial scenarios.”

From a regulatory perspective, the fact that such a large-scale company is integrating a permissionless blockchain further solidifies China’s pro-NFT stance and suggests that we can expect an increase in local companies considering blockchain technology integration with existing Web2 companies.

The first Conflux NFT supported by Little Red Book is from the Mimic Shhans community, which has a large Chinese community, and owners of the original NFT can go through a pre-defined process to receive the Conflux NFT that will be on their Little Red Book can be displayed profile page.
