Fans Call on Kanye West in Response to Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson Split

Kim Kardashian broke up with Pete Davidson nine months after they started dating, and the news hit the internet on Friday night.

The development caught many by surprise as the story broke on the heels of plenty of social media signs and posts that seemingly strongly portrayed the relationship.

Of course, fans and haters alike of the now-ex couple took to Twitter to joke, confront and generally air about the split between the reality superstar, 41, and the comedian, 28 – a free-for-all that was fueled in part by the well-documented and arguably infamous dating histories of both celebrities.

Top of the line for countless Twitter spectators was Kanye West — who hasn’t exactly followed the ongoing divorce proceedings with Kardashian closely — and how he might react to the news.

Rather than accept the reality that the Skims entrepreneur would really go beyond the “Runaway” crooner, Ye instead attacked Davidson with a barrage of insults and otherwise denigrated him with false rumors – even menacingly fantasizing about his passing in newly released tunes.

“Did Pete and Kim really break up with you? i just KNOW my boy Kanye kissed those crystals rn ,” a fan tweetedsarcastically suggesting that Ye went to mystical extremes to spur the end of the relationship.

“Kanye is looking” [sic] see on his phone that Kim and Pete are ready,” another wrote, sharing a photo of the “Heartbreak” rapper, 45, grinning from ear to ear.

Elsewhere, tweets poked fun at the ‘King of Staten Island’ star’s long track record of mostly short-lived romances with an array of actresses, models and, of course, ex-fiancée Ariana Grande.

It’s also no secret that Davidson tends to ink memories of his girlfriends on his skin — often just months after dating.

“Pete tattoos every woman he’s been on him with is like collecting infinite stones right now 💀,” commented another user, posting the tweet featuring a photo of Marvel villain Thanos and the caption of his nefarious tagline, “I am inevitable.”

One of the four (!) Kim-era tattoos Davidson got in honor of his former girlfriend, which reads “My Girl is a Lawyer,” was a target for some soft ribbing. “I’m not sure who Pete will end up with, but I do hope his next wife will be a lawyer,” he said. snapped a commentator.

Yet another subset of users expressed genuine disappointment with the update.

“I liked them. I didn’t expect it to last, but thought they were cute together,” a well-known.

Another Pete Kim Stan repeated the sentiment: “WHAT!!! I was crossing my fingers for them! I thought it was good for Kim to have someone like Pete who is cold and humble.”
