A new yellow weather warning for “freezing fog” has been issued for parts of England until Wednesday morning.
The Met Office said on Tuesday evening the warning had been issued for London, as well as the south west and south east of England, and is in effect until 8am on Wednesday morning.
“Freezing fog will lead to difficult driving conditions and may cause travel delays in some areas,” the Met Office’s warning read.
The Met Office said “patchy frost fog” would be dense overnight at times but should dissipate by Wednesday morning.
