By now, any American who follows the news with even moderate interest knows that there are deep and troubling issues surrounding the Uvalde police response to the heartbreaking Robb Elementary School massacre. After all, it is not normal for police chiefs and first responders to refuse – or at least delay and hesitate – to participate in the investigation of the entire event, including the actions of the first responders.
We wonder whether or not an officer shot a child. There are very few hard facts regarding even how this could have been possible or when it happened, but something seems wrong and questions are being asked.
Texas law enforcement said days ago that all of Uvalde’s children were shot by Ramos. This sent up some red flags; that maybe the police shot a child. Now radio communications have surfaced with a child saying “I was shot”, and authorities saying “They shot a child”. What’s going on?

Yes, that statement would raise red flags as of course it would be assumed that all the children were shot by Ramos. And even…
Here is the video, although it is extremely difficult to hear from an emotional point of view.
The radio communications can be heard in the TSTIME video report at this link. https://t.co/aZe0AFMYgn

It’s definitely worth wondering what’s going on.
Unfortunately, this country has too often gone down this road. School shootings are part of our cultural landscape, however sick it is to write about. But there are rarely questions afterwards about the police response. However, with Uvalde, there were almost only questions the day after the shooting, when learning that parents had been handcuffed and tackled as they tried to enter the school.
The video above will do nothing but add more questions that demand answers.
