Pittsburgh Police: Perry North teen stabled after being accidentally shot in the face


Nov. 24 – A teen is in stable condition after being accidentally shot in the face in the Perry North neighborhood of Pittsburgh on Wednesday, according to police.

First responders were called to the 3700 block of Baytree Street just after 4:45 p.m. to a report of a teenager shot in the face.

Medics transported the teen in stable condition, police said. Preliminary investigations indicated the cause appears to be accidental, they said.

The incident remains under investigation.
