The iconic goalkeeper of the Indian hockey team, PR Sreejesh, took to Twitter on Friday to express his disappointment with the domestic airline IndiGo as they charged him extra for his luggage. “FIH allows me to play with a 41-inch hockey stick, but @IndiGo6E will never let me wear anything larger than 38-inch,” tweeted Sreejesh. What must we do? Pay 1500 rupees extra for handling the keeper’s luggage,” he wrote. He also shared a photo of the IndiGo receipt for the extra baggage fee. He also added the hashtag “#loot”.

Sreejesh was part of the Indian team that won the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which were held last year.
