The Punjab Kings (PBKS) took to social media to share a hilarious dance video of Murugan Ashwin. The spinner was hired by the Punjab franchise ahead of the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL), and has been in and out of the squad since. Despite limited opportunities, the 30-year-old is still considered a quality bowler by many fans and is known to be a googly specialist. Posting the crazy dancing video on Twitter, PBKS captioned it as “. @ AshwinMurugan8 handing out yet another googly.”

In the video, Ashwin can be seen doing some hilarious dance moves with a friend, which left Punjab fans on their own.

Despite a strong performance in the IPL 2020, Ashwin only played three games in the IPL 2021, which was postponed indefinitely to the middle of the season. He took a lonely wicket.

PBKS was sixth on the points table, when the tournament was postponed indefinitely, due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in India.

The 2021 IPL has also been hit hard by the coronavirus with a few high-profile cases.
