When the chairman asked protesting members to maintain order in the House, opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge stood up and said the government has not taken note of announcements requesting discussion of various developments in states such as Gujarat, Maharashtra and Assam.

He also claimed that the Center destabilized the elected government in the state. Goyal again appealed to the protesting side to keep the House running smoothly.
