S $ 268,000 worth of drugs seized in CNB raid, woman arrested


SINGAPORE: A 39-year-old woman was arrested and around S $ 268,000 in drugs was seized during a raid on the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) on Tuesday evening (23 November).

In total, approximately 479 g of heroin, 546 g of Ice, 2,183 g of ketamine and five strips of Subutex were seized.

The woman was arrested near Dover Crescent, CNB said in a press release Thursday.

A packet and a packet containing approximately 479 g of heroin and various drug paraphernalia were recovered from the woman.

A “minute amount” of ice, five strips of Subutex and various drug-related accessories were seized from a residential unit in Dover Crescent, CNB said.

Another package containing approximately 546 g of ice and five packages of approximately 2,183 g of ketamine were also seized from a vehicle parked nearby.

Investigations into suspected drug offenses are ongoing.
