Sourav Ganguly breaks silence on cryptic tweet that sparked BCCI resignation rumors


BCCI chairman and decorated former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly sparked wild speculation with a cryptic tweet on Wednesday. The post was followed by reports that he had resigned as Chairman of the Indian Cricket Board. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah was quick to refute the media reports, saying Ganguly had not resigned. Now Ganguly himself has clarified what he meant by the post.

The former cricketer and current administrator has launched an edtech app. “I launched a global educational app,” Ganguly was quoted as saying by ANI news agency.

Earlier today, Ganguly had tweeted a message. In the post, the legendary drummer hinted that he “plans to start something” in order to help a lot of people.

“Today I plan to start something that I think will probably help a lot of people. Hope you continue to support me as I enter this chapter of my life,” he tweeted. .

“2022 marks the 30th year since my journey with cricket started in 1992. Since then, cricket has given me a lot. More importantly, it has given me the support of all of you.
