The One Show descended into chaos Thursday night during an interview with Emily Atack, Mel B and Ruby Wax.

The animated trio joined host Alex Jones on the show to promote their upcoming show Trailblazers: A Rocky Mountain Road Trip – but she soon lost control of them.

During part of the conversation about horseback riding, Mel and Ruby ended up rolling around on the couch together and talking at random throughout the show — before Mel even jokingly stormed off the set.

Alex watched in bewilderment as the group talked to each other laughing and joking – as co-host Ronan Keating couldn’t help but giggle.

And after the women left the studio, Alex couldn’t resist saying, “Oh, it feels a lot quieter in the studio now!”

Mel, 47, also jokingly stormed off the set at one point after being interrupted.

Just before Ruby, 69, told hosts Alex and Ronan, “We were looking for the American dream and that’s when things went wrong.”

Mel then sharply joked back, “Just like this interview!”

Former X Factor judge Mel then said: ‘Don’t forget to tune in guys on Monday’ before brazenly attempting to storm the set.

Her co-stars then returned her to her seat when Mel was heard saying, “She said we had to go.”

Viewers watching at home were quick to label the TV segment as “chaos,” growing annoyed at the fact that they were all talking at once at once.

One said, “Alex Jones isn’t often lost for words, but Mel B, Ruby Wax and Emily Atack completed the flushed #TheOneShow tonight. Chaos.’

Another exclaimed, “What…has…happened… This is the biggest car accident of an interview between Mel B, Ruby Wax and Emily Atack.”

Someone else added, “What’s scary spice up?! Interrupt and take over everyone. Poor Ruby and Emily. Ronan Keating gets the giggles when he looks at it.’

Another said, “Ruby Wax and Mel B are acting like idiots and making me switch off.”

However, others thought it was hilarious, writing, “Absolute carnage on #TheOneShow tonight with Ruby Wax, Emily Atack and Mel B. Absolutely hilarious.”

In the show, the three generations of celebrities come together to follow in the footsteps of Isabella Bird, a woman traveler from the 19th century.

During the trip, Emily, Mel, and Ruby had some fun between takes as they enjoyed a drunken night at an Aspen western bar, reenacting a scene from Cayote Ugly.

The Inbetweeners and Ruby star both donned cowboy hats and sunglasses as they twirled between smoke machines for the local pub-goers.

A sober Mel B documented the whole thing to her 1.5 million followers and admitted that her co-stars “embarrassed” her on a school night via her Instagram story.
