The long wait: You’ll soon be stuck in traffic jams on these roads
The sports holidays in the first cantons start on Saturday. Federal experts already know which roads snow sports enthusiasts need a lot of patience on.
Bumper to bumper: During the sports holidays, traffic will back up again in many places in Switzerland.
The snowboard is waxed, the ski bindings adjusted and the helmet packed: next weekend, the sports holidays will start in the first cantons – for example in Thurgau, in Schaffhausen or Glarus. They will then be successively replaced by the other cantons until the beginning of March when school definitely calls again for everyone.
