Try rare chocolate milk at the Dominick Hotel in SoHo this holiday season

It’s time for a gilded journey – and I mean that in a good way.

There’s a good reason to head to New York City this holiday season.

For a limited time during November and December, The Dominick Hotel in SoHo will be offering free rare gold chocolate milk in the lobby, provided by Delysia Chocolatier. The chocolate cart drinking experience features Gold Drinking Chocolate — more on that later — alongside other varieties like Pumpkin Spice (starting Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 23-26) and Peppermint (Dec. 15-18 and Dec. 22-25). Travelers, diners, and New Yorkers can customize each decadent cup with a variety of toppings, from cinnamon and peppermint sticks to a homemade s’mores spice mix.

What is drinking gold Chocolate?

Gold Chocolate is the latest couverture creation on the market. The natural shade of Gold Chocolate is a pale amber color and is made from caramelized sugars and caramelized milk fat, creating a unique caramel chocolate flavour. The intense but balanced taste provides a hint of caramelized chocolate, toffee, butter, cream and a hint of chocolate.

The Gold drinking chocolate from Delysia Chocolatier is made with high-quality chocolate, a luxury in itself. This exceptional drink is given a glistening dose of opulence thanks to pure gold chocolate that makes this extravagant drink as dazzling as it is delicious. The Gold drinking chocolate is intensely rich and flavorful, handmade with 72 percent bittersweet chocolate with gold chocolate chunks scattered throughout the mix.

Delysia Chocolatier, an award-winning artisan chocolate company based in Austin, Texas, is known for its rare golden drinking chocolate. Released to the world in early spring 2020, Delysia Chocolatier was the very first, if not the only chocolatier in the world, to create confections with Gold chocolate.

The Dominick is New York City’s only five-diamond independent property, offering guests luxurious amenities with unobtrusive service at its Spring Street location in SoHo.

And here’s another good reason to visit the hotel – with wellness tourism at an all-time high. The property also houses a signature Babor spa. I haven’t experienced it, but Babor luxury skincare is a German company that offers excellent high-quality products and is still a family business to this day. Babor has over 60 years of skin care expertise. All research, development and production activities take place exclusively at the company’s headquarters in Aachen.

So treat your taste buds – then treat your skin to German complexion perfection. It’s all a golden opportunity.
