An alleged shoddy construction video at a university building being constructed in Uttar Pradesh was shared by the Samajwadi Akhilesh Yadav party today as it targeted the ruling BJP for corruption.
In the video, a brick pillar at the construction site in the state’s Pratapgarh district was seen collapsing after Samajwadi party MP Dr RK Verma l pushed with bare hands.

“It will be a four-story building,” the MP says in the video.
The video was taken yesterday when the legislator visited the government engineering college under construction in Raniganj region for inspection.
The video tweeted by Akhilesh Yadav is from the area where hostel buildings are being constructed, according to the MP.
“The marvel of corruption under BJP rule is unique. The bricks of the engineering school were put together without cement,” Akhilesh Yadav said in a Hindi tweet.

Dr Verma, meanwhile, tweeted another video in which he then inspected other parts of the construction site. The visuals were the same – brick walls collapsing.
