Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has identified Arsenal duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus as players who can take Brazil as far as possible in the 2022 World Cup.

He continued that Martinelli has the “arrogance” to shine at the highest level.
Brazil will start the World Cup campaign against Serbia on Thursday evening. They are seen as one of the favorites of the tournament.
It’s Martinelli’s first ever World Cup and Silva believes the Arsenal star, who has been making waves in the Premier League this season, is more than capable of hitting the international stage given the chance.
“You see the connection they have[Martinelli and Jesus]had at Arsenal this season – it’s a big reason why they’re at the top of the Premier League,” Silva told The Mirror.
“Jesus, we’ve known about his quality for a long time, but Martinelli really shows what he stands for.
“I think all attacking players at the highest level need that bit of arrogance.”
Jesus and Martinelli have helped Arsenal stay at the top of the Premier League this season. Martinelli has scored five goals for Arsenal this season.
